What is Christianity?
A summary of the definition of Christianity, and this video is the start of a series of videos on the basics of the Christian faith.
To know what Christianity is, we have to know that Christianity is not a religion but rather a relationship with God, and to understand this we have to go back to the beginnings. God created the universe in an ideal way and loved what he had created, and among the creatures he created Adam and Eve, which are the beginning of humanity. They had a close relationship with God, but that relationship did not last for long as Adam and Eve responded to Satan's mislead and disobeyed God. God expelled them from the Garden of Eden. Here, God's problem with humanity began. Sin created a deep chasm between God and man, and man acquired a sinful nature that harms him to spiritual death.
Because of God's love for mankind, he devised a plan to save them from the sin that leads to their destruction
